Stylish Japanese Compact Car, Mazda Demio

The Mazda Demio minivan was introduced in 1996 and resulted in three generations of this tremendously popular selling vehicle.  Its popularity has expanded and its design has made way for its rebranding into the popular Ford Festiva Mini Wagon and the Kia Pride and Avella.  When first introduced the Demio by Mazda expanded its realm to countries around the globe. After being introduced in Japan, it later found its way into Australia as the Metro.  This added another market win for the ever increasingly popular vehicle.  The Demio receive recognition as the World Car Design of the Year in 2008 giving Mazda another reason to promote their award winning vehicles to consumers worldwide.

The engines of the Mazda Demio include 1.25-liter to 1.6-liter diesel and gasoline models touting horsepower capabilities of 90 to 111, along with rpms of3500 to 6000.  The amazingly powerful engines housed within the Demio are designed for fuel efficiency and environmentally clean.  This provides the minivan the opportunity to meet todays established guidelines around pollution reducing mechanisms and fuel economies. The Demio minivan was originally manufactured for the European, Japanese and Chinese markets.  The Autozam and Anfini exclusively offered by Mazda for the Japanese market in 2007.  Mazda enhanced this model in 2008 to have greater fuel efficiency and environmental cleanliness.  When the Demio was introduced to Europe in 2007 at the Geneva Motor and Shanghai International Motor Shows, it gained in popularity among the European consumers.   When introduced to the Chinese market in 2007 at the Guangshou Motor Show, it again gained in popularity.  These shows increased the overall appeal of this minivan making Mazda an automotive manufacture offering affordable, dependable and fuel efficient family vehicles.

The Mazda Demio comes in different models that include five-door models and an optional glass sunroof which is opened automatically with the push of a button.  This minivan offers a variety of interior colors, fabrics and trim options all which complement the exterior colors and trim packages.
